11th Hour Auditorium update

Thanks to John Winga for reminding us that Michigan State is in the Sweet 16. That's great.

NEW PAUL HARRIS FELLOWS

Congratulations to US Bank's Steve Slaubaugh on becoming a Paul Harris Fellow. Congratulations also to Emory Van Gerpen and Lending Hands' Susan Wellington on becoming a two-time Paul Harris Fellow.

NEW AUDITORIUM

New Auditorium Committee Co-Chair, Bob Youngquist gave us some great information about the proposed new $7 million auditorium that is being planned at the new Washington High School.

It is fabulous to see that on April 1st, 68.6% of voters approved a bond referendum of $1.1 million toward that $7 million project. That goes along with the $2.4 million raised in private donations, and a $2.5 million grant from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation. The Committee has an application for $1.4 million in to the state's Vision Iowa board of directors.

Here is the (unofficial) voter results for Washington:
