Midwest Military Outreach

Thanks to Gary Murphy for bringing around his brother, Tom from Miles, IA to Rotary this week. Hard to believe they are related.

Midwest Military Outreach

Bob Kennedy introduced John Mikelson of Midwest Military Outreach. Mikelson has a long history at the National Guard in Washington.

First though, Bob introduced Lonnie Milligan, who is also active in local military organizations, and who is an active AM Kiwanis Club member... Lonnie said he raises several acres of pumpkins on some land just south of F Troop museum. This year, Lonnie needs someone with a large tiller to help out... If that is you, give Lonnie a call!

John Mikelson said that Midwest Military Outreach is a non-profit based in Cedar Rapids whose mission is to empower and retain the talent of our Service Members, Veterans and their families as they transition to productive civilian life. MMO connects Service Members, Veterans and their families to the resources they need. MMO provides support in the critical life areas of; family, employment, education, financial education and health.
